John Drummond

John Drummond is a Sr. Director of Network Services, Colleague Experience and Technology at VMware and is responsible for Network technologies for VMware IT organization. Prior to that John held Sr. Director role of Information Systems and was responsible for client engineering, device standards, software delivery, identity platform, modern workplace and global tier 3 support for VMware End User Computing products. John and his team serve as VMware's best reference account for the company's end user computing products. Some major initiatives John led were around the adoption of Workspace ONE at VMware, rolling out Windows 10 and managing Windows 10 PCs, Macs and mobile devices with a single pane of glass using Workspace ONE Hub. John and his team are committed to the improved colleague experience at VMware.   John has a successful leadership track record in providing direction, managing and mentoring multiple teams across geographies. He is excellent in understanding business needs, objectives, the impact of technology and seeing the big picture. Prior to VMware, John was Director of Global Communications at Manhattan Associates leading multimillion-dollar IT projects. Prior to that, he was at Ernst & Young. John has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Devry University.
